8pm-11pm.

Screening Milos Forman´s wonderful comedy               A BLONDE IN LOVE.

In May we’re celebrating the central European director who took the plunge and moved abroad to turn the art of filmmaking around – Milos Forman. But rather than screen his famous and award-winning efforts, we return to the roots and his home country of Czech Republic.

This is your chance to see his delightful comedy A BLONDE IN LOVE. A film that rarely gets a big screen exposure in London, so make sure to snap yourself a ticket ahead of the event.

A Blonde in Love (Lásky jedné plavovlásky), dir. Miloš Forman, 1965.
Andula lives a boring life in a boarding house in a small Czech town and desires nothing else than a love affair that would sweep her off her feet. Inexperienced, she follows every guy who flatters her. After a series of embarassing dates, she finally finds the one – young pianist Milda. When she meets his parents, things turn out to be very different to what she originally envisioned.
