Squeeze the thing hard enough, for long enough, and it will become something else. It’s not going to be easy and you’re going to have to work at it. Pull, push and squeeze in all directions. Squeeze the space around it. Squeeze as much out of it as possible. And squeeze the time it takes. Maybe it won’t even turn out the way you expected. Maybe it will break.

Squeeze presents 4 artists working with their chosen materials, adopting unconventional methods in the making process in order to test expectations and push the work into new domains.

 

Josh Berry

(b.1991 UK) lives and works in London. Studied BA (Hons) Fine Art at University of East London (2011-2014) and MFA Fine Art at the Slade School of Fine Art (2014-16), where he received the Adrian Carruthers award. Will Kippax

(b.1990 UK) lives and works in London. Marielle Hehir


(b.1986 UK) lives and works in London.
