Screening of the short documentary “Inadmissible” followed by a Q&A with the directors and a representative of the Legal Centre Lesbos. Screening starts at 20h00 but come around from 19h15 for a drink while having a look at Thraedable’s pop-up exhibition of drawings made by refugees!

INADMISSIBLE
In October 2016, Thraedable went to Lesbos to launch its partnership with the Legal Centre Lesbos – an organisation that provides free legal advice to refugees and migrants on the island of Lesbos. As we discovered, access to right information, at a time of great uncertainty following the EU-Turkey deal to send refugees and migrants back to Turkey, was lacking. People were stuck on the island, uncertain as to the amount of time they have to wait. Meanwhile, the authorities introduced a new criteria – the admissibility procedure – to determine whether Turkey is a safe third country for asylum seekers to be sent back to…
