Friday February 26th 7-11pm

A night celebrating the talented people of Dalston and raising money for the Hope Family Soup Run.

Come join us for a Friday night festival of live music, spoken word and visual art. Opening with a poetry reading from street poet BRS and the atmospheric musical sounds of Secret Circle, the evening will progress through an open mic night and evolve into an acoustic jam session. During the evening a slideshow of photography by Lisa Furness will be displayed alongside other visual art.

Come along, bring your instruments, or art or voice, or simply bring your ears and eyes.

More acts tbc, please get in touch if you want to take part.

The Hope Family Soup Run was founded in the Autumn of 2015 by a group of Hackney locals to offer a helping hand to the homeless of their district by providing a quick meal, some Coffee /Tea, a pat on the back and a chat or a listening ear. Our little band of volunteers has been handing out soup and sandwiches to homeless people through the winter months and we are keen to keep up this rewarding work.

Hope Family is funded through fundraising events, working with the good people of the Hive to create warm and wonderful evenings of music, poetry and friendship. Our tea caddy is empty now and the cupboards are bare so it’s time for another get together.

£5 entry, all proceeds go to the Hope Family Soup Run.
