WiLD and True – an exhibition by Debbie Warrener
Debbie Warrener is a self-taught visual artist working in acrylic, oil pastels and pencil. Her expressive work aims to capture moments of ‘aliveness’ – in whatever shape, form or colour they may be. Debbie used to live in Japan and the beauty of the elemental balance between movement, stillness and space in Japanese calligraphy and ceramics have influenced her approach.
Debbie is also a leadership facilitator and coach for changemakers and wannabe changemakers. She is passionate about people finding their inner ‘sparks’ and aliveness and shining out brightly to create change in the world.
The works in this exhibition are about both the WiLD and True world around us and within us. Debbie’s hope with the exhibition and related events is that they will inspire you to reflect on – What is ‘WiLD and True’ for YoU??
