This is a family and kids friendly screening.

Juraj Jakubisko´s The Feather Fairy (1980) is a classic story of people´s desire for love and happiness. Poor boy Jakub is taken under the wings of The Feather Fairy (played by brilliant Giulietta Masina) who lives in mountains and gives snow to the people. Although Jakub has everything he needs and is immortal, one day he escapes to the human world, falls in love with Alzbeta and decided to never look back… Until their love is threatened by Alzbeta´s greedy stepmother and stepsister.

Cosy Dens (1999) is one of the most popular Czech comedies of the independent era. Directed by Jan Hrebejk, Cosy Dens is a bittersweet coming-of-age story that shows lives of several families in the months prior to the Russian invasion of Czechoslovakia in August 1968. A brilliant insight into the details of daily life in 1960s socialist Czechoslovakia (from novelty household items to that harrowing night of Russian invasion), this is a revered Czech Christmas classic not to be missed!
